The ATM is one of the curbside services in Cosmo's Quickstop. Like all curbside services, it can be installed in any of the outer docking bays. In campaign mode, the ATM becomes available from after obtaining the 6 dock layout.
Using the ATM[edit | edit source]
Like all curbside services, you must use the ATM that corresponds to the customer's dock. Once at the ATM, you will see a requested amount of money on the screen. Each input is connected to a dollar bill amount of $10 or $20 (or a $5 amount when upgraded) and you must enter a button combination that adds up to the amount requested before pressing the submit button. If a mistake is made, you can use a delete button to remove the last entry. The sum of your input is not displayed meaning you must keep track of the total yourself. Incorrect totals will reset the minigame, requiring you to reenter the amount. In addition to solid profits, the upgraded ATM can provide boosts to the customer's patience and a bonus tick on your combo meter.
ATM Upgrades[edit | edit source]
Upgrades can be purchased with a Gold Star Sticker once the task has leveled up to an upgrade's corresponding number. Higher level upgrades often require a previous upgrade to be purchased as a prerequisite.
Fiver Fever - Offering five dollar bills will make ATM orders a bit more complex. However, you will make more money from the added convenience fee!
The Cash Gremlin - Everyone loves a visit from the Cash Gremlin! Dressing as this mythical creature will refill the customer's patience while you are at the ATM.
I Want Candy! - Giving customers a complimentary lollipop with their ATM order will add an extra bump to your combo meter when you undock them. Don't forget because they won't remind you!
Fat Stacks Subsidy - Registering with the Galactic Bureau of Inconveniences will reward you for each piece of currency used. Every bill you give will earn you bonus money!
ATM Lore[edit | edit source]
Another victim of the Artificial Intelligence Union strikes, the ATM is not so automated these days. Tellers must correctly input the requested amount of cash and the pneumatic tube will shoot it in the general direction of the customer's vehicle. Ambitious tellers often give customer's complimentary lollipops, which typically results in a larger tip. Even more ambitious -- some tellers excite their customers by wearing a Cash Gremlin costume at the service window. The mere sight of this mythical creature is said to bring immeasurable financial luck, which has inspired the exploitation of its image for customer satisfaction purposes.
