The All-Seeing Zarlak is one of the amenities in Cosmo's Quickstop. Like all amenities, it can be installed along the outer wall of the Quickstop's large, central room. In campaign mode, the All-Seeing Zarlak becomes available after the 8 dock layout is obtained.

Using the All-Seeing Zarlak

The All-Seeing Zarlak is a risky utility amenity that can periodically influence your fortune with good, bad or strange effects. This amenity will also generate a small amount of profit from customers who want to use the machines on either side of the oracle. The All-Seeing Zarlak does not need any maintenance to earn profit and customers cannot be failed by neglecting it.

To receive a fortune, you must run up to the center booth and activate Zarlak while his curtain is open, which happens for a short period of time around each minute marker on the clock. You will hear a slight mystical jingling sound throughout the Quickstop when a fortune is available. The effects of each fortune are explained below, note that all but the first 5 fortunes are unlocked with upgrades. Fortunes that extend the time on the clock can provide a "bonus fortune" since the clock will go past the same minute mark again.

All-Seeing Zarlak Lore

This one of a kind, animatronic oracle was recently purchased by Cosmo at a space-flea market. The previous owner won it at an auction that was selling items from unpaid storage units. Eager to get rid of it after one of its fortunes shrunk him to a minuscule size, he sold it to Cosmo at a very steep discount. According to the owner, the old storage unit was used by a renown magician who mysteriously disappeared after a performance at the Interstellar Worlds Fair nearly 1000 years ago.

The robotic Zarlak and the fortune machines to either side are adorned with mysterious sentient eyeballs that can influence the future of anyone they gaze upon. It's thought that these eyeballs were harvested from a colossal worm creature with the ability to read thoughts and see through time. Powered by enchanted crystal spheres, the eyes can channel their cosmic energies through fortune telling devices and tarot card decks. Whether good, bad or just plain weird, every fortune the machine predicts becomes instantaneously true.
