Recharge is one of the curbside services in Cosmo's Quickstop. Like all curbside services, it can be installed in any of the outer docking bays. In campaign mode, Recharge becomes available from after obtaining the 6 dock layout.
Using Recharge[ | ]
Like all curbside services, you must use the Recharge that corresponds to the customer's dock. Once at the Recharger, you can pick up the potato battery inside. By repeatedly pressing the assigned input, you can charge potatoes while running around the Quickstop to complete other tasks. A progress bar on the back of the potato will increase as you charge it. The color of the bar corresponds to which dock the potato belongs to. Once fully charged, the potato will automatically teleport back to the dock it came from, completing the task. You can hold between 2 and 4 potatoes (depending on upgrades) at once, allowing you to charge numerous potatoes at a time.
Recharge Upgrades[ | ]
Upgrades can be purchased with a Gold Star Sticker once the task has leveled up to an upgrade's corresponding number. Higher level upgrades often require a previous upgrade to be purchased as a prerequisite.

Uber Tubers - Installing liquid plant food injectors in the stasis chamber makes the batteries recharge slower but be worth more!

These kinetic potato batteries are genetically engineered to provide a spark of energy necessary to start the engines in consumer grade space vessels. Far cheaper and easier to charge than conventional batteries, they are often referred to as "reverse couch potatoes" since the mere act of jogging while holding one can provide enough kinetic energy to rejuvenate a burnt out spud. The miraculous energy-storing property of these taters is an unintended consequence of the genetic engineering used to develop McBitey's delicious fried potatoes. In an effort to exponentially increase the tastiness of their side-dish, McBitey's research team accidentally created a spud that multiplies the amount of kinetic energy it receives, storing it in quantum-entangled starch molecules. This violation of thermodynamics has been exploited to create these ubiquitous energy storing devices. Large scale use as an energy source is thought to be impossible because of their instability. They must be stored in a cryogenic containment pod when not in use, lest they spoil. These subzero temperatures also inhibit the energy output of the spuds, making them only useful for short bursts of power, which is perfect for starting an ion combustion engine. Many service stations offer recharging services for customers who are too lazy to take their spuds out for a jog.
